Sen. Joe Biden will bring his vice-presidential campaign to the university Friday morning.
Biden, who graduated from the university in 1965, will speak on the North Green at 10:30 a.m., Andrew Grunwald, communications director of UD for Obama, said.
Grunwald said the appearance by the Democratic candidate is intended to mobilize university students to not only vote, but also travel to Pennsylvania, a battleground state in the election, to campaign for presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama.
Security gates will open at 8:30 a.m.
